Our Lady of Mercy School Mission Statement
Central to our philosophy at Our Lady of Mercy School, is emulating the traditions and values of our Catholic identity. We strive to educate the whole child spirituality, academically, and emotionally. Our students will become leaders for positive change in a culturally diverse world.
Our Lady of Mercy School Philosophy
Central to the philosophy of Our Lady of Mercy School is a concern for the student as an individual and a commitment to the education of the whole person. We seek to implement these values in every aspect of school life.
In a curriculum deigned to emulate the traditions and values of the Catholic tradition, Our Lady of Mercy School strives to instill in each student a sense of personal worth and self-discipline. We believe that we must provide an environment that fosters mutual respect, promotes the uniqueness of the individual, and provides opportunities for students to become life-long learners and contributing members of a culturally diverse world.
We believe that all students can learn and we encourage our students to develop responsibility, self-motivation, a comprehensive base of knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
At Our Lady of Mercy School students will realize that, “I CAN, I CARE, I COUNT.”
